Khammam District, Telangana

Khammam District is an administrative district in the state of Telangana, India. It is situated about 195 km from Hyderabad, the state capital of Telangana. The district headquarters is located at Khammam. Telugu and Koya are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 16,029 km², including 15,817.64 km² of rural area and 211.36 km² of urban area.
