Medak District, Telangana

Medak District is an administrative district in the state of Telangana, India. It is situated about 100 km from Hyderabad, the state capital of Telangana. The district headquarters is located at Medak. Telugu is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 9,699 km², including 9,327.66 km² of rural area and 371.34 km² of urban area.
