Nizamabad District, Telangana

Nizamabad is an administrative district in Telangana, India. The district is located about 165 km from Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana. Its administrative headquarters is in Nizamabad. Telugu, Urdu and Marathi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 7,956 km², including 7,825.02 km² of rural area and 130.98 km² of urban area.
