Nizamabad District is an administrative district in the state of Telangana, India. It is situated about 165 km from Hyderabad, the state capital of Telangana. The district headquarters is located at Nizamabad. Telugu, Urdu and Marathi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 7,956 km², including 7,825.02 km² of rural area and 130.98 km² of urban area.
