Karimnagar is an administrative district in Telangana, India. The district is located about 165 km from Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana. Its administrative headquarters is in Karimnagar. Telugu is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 11,823 km², including 11,439.10 km² of rural area and 383.90 km² of urban area.
