Dhalai District, Tripura

Dhalai District is an administrative district in the state of Tripura, India. It is situated about 130 km from Agartala, the state capital of Tripura. The district headquarters is located at Ambassa. Kokborok and Bengali are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,400 km², including 2,364.29 km² of rural area and 35.71 km² of urban area.
