Banda District, Uttar Pradesh

Banda District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 260 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Banda. Hindi and Bundeli are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,408 km², including 4,347.72 km² of rural area and 60.28 km² of urban area.
