Kanpur Dehat District, Uttar Pradesh

Kanpur Dehat District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 100 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Akbarpur. Hindi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,021 km², including 2,940.14 km² of rural area and 80.86 km² of urban area.
