Mainpuri District, Uttar Pradesh

Mainpuri District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 270 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Mainpuri. Hindi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,760 km², including 2,670.98 km² of rural area and 89.02 km² of urban area.
