Farrukhabad is an administrative district in Uttar Pradesh, India. The district is located about 190 km from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Fatehgarh. Hindi and Urdu are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 2,181 km², including 2,132.64 km² of rural area and 48.36 km² of urban area.
