Hardoi District, Uttar Pradesh

Hardoi District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 100 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Hardoi. Hindi and Avadhi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 5,986 km², including 5,837.84 km² of rural area and 148.16 km² of urban area.
