Sitapur District, Uttar Pradesh

Sitapur District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 90 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Sitapur. Hindi and Avadhi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 5,743 km², including 5,636.33 km² of rural area and 106.67 km² of urban area.
