Bara Banki District, Uttar Pradesh

Bara Banki is an administrative district in Uttar Pradesh, India. The district is located about 30 km from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Barabanki. Hindi and Avadhi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 4,402 km², including 4,337.13 km² of rural area and 64.87 km² of urban area.
