Sultanpur District, Uttar Pradesh

Sultanpur District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 135 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Sultanpur. Hindi and Avadhi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,436 km², including 4,396.92 km² of rural area and 39.08 km² of urban area.
