Pratapgarh District, Uttar Pradesh

Pratapgarh District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 160 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Pratapgarh. Hindi and Avadhi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,717 km², including 3,669.13 km² of rural area and 47.87 km² of urban area.
