Pratapgarh District, Uttar Pradesh

Pratapgarh is an administrative district in Uttar Pradesh, India. The district is located about 160 km from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Pratapgarh. Hindi and Avadhi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 3,717 km², including 3,669.13 km² of rural area and 47.87 km² of urban area.
