Rae Bareli District, Uttar Pradesh

Rae Bareli District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 80 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Raebareli. Hindi and Avadhi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,609 km², including 4,532.51 km² of rural area and 76.49 km² of urban area.
