Prayagraj District, Uttar Pradesh

Prayagraj is an administrative district in Uttar Pradesh, India. The district is located about 200 km from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Prayagraj. Hindi and Urdu are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 5,482 km², including 5,279.07 km² of rural area and 202.93 km² of urban area.
