Prayagraj District, Uttar Pradesh

Prayagraj District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 200 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Prayagraj. Hindi and Urdu are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 5,482 km², including 5,279.07 km² of rural area and 202.93 km² of urban area.
