Mirzapur District, Uttar Pradesh

Mirzapur District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 265 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Mirzapur. Hindi, Bhojpuri and Bagheli are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,405 km², including 4,331.78 km² of rural area and 73.22 km² of urban area.
