Chandauli is an administrative district in Uttar Pradesh, India. The district is located about 310 km from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Chandauli. Hindi and Bhojpuri are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 2,541 km², including 2,487.28 km² of rural area and 53.72 km² of urban area.
