Kheri District, Uttar Pradesh
Kheri is an administrative district in Uttar Pradesh, India. The district is located about 180 km from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Lakhimpur. Hindi and Avadhi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 7,680 km², including 7,592.03 km² of rural area and 87.97 km² of urban area.
