Moradabad District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 350 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Moradabad. Hindi and Urdu are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,718 km², including 3,569.67 km² of rural area and 148.33 km² of urban area.
