Rampur District, Uttar Pradesh

Rampur District is an administrative district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated about 320 km from Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Rampur. Hindi and Urdu are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,367 km², including 2,265.24 km² of rural area and 101.76 km² of urban area.
