Rampur District, Uttar Pradesh

Rampur is an administrative district in Uttar Pradesh, India. The district is located about 320 km from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Rampur. Hindi and Urdu are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 2,367 km², including 2,265.24 km² of rural area and 101.76 km² of urban area.
