Uttar Dinajpur District, West Bengal

Uttar Dinajpur is an administrative district in West Bengal, India. The district is located about 490 km from Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. Its administrative headquarters is in Raiganj. Bengali and Hindi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 3,140 km², including 3,075.26 km² of rural area and 64.74 km² of urban area.
