East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh
East Godavari is an administrative district in Andhra Pradesh, India. The district is located about 180 km from Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Rajamahendravaram. Telugu is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 10,807 km², including 10,506.56 km² of rural area and 300.44 km² of urban area.
