Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh
Krishna District is an administrative district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is situated about 50 km from Amaravati, the state capital of Andhra Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Machilipatnam. Telugu is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 8,727 km², including 8,363.15 km² of rural area and 363.85 km² of urban area.
