Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh
Krishna is an administrative district in Andhra Pradesh, India. The district is located about 50 km from Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Machilipatnam. Telugu is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 8,727 km², including 8,363.15 km² of rural area and 363.85 km² of urban area.
