Gopalganj

Gopalganj is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Gopalganj is 2,033 km² including 1,981.08 km² rural area and 51.92 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Gopalganj has a population of 25,62,012 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,62,805 while rural population is 23,99,207. Gopalganj has a sex ratio of approximately 1021 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1260 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,13,044 houses in the district, including 25,623 urban houses and 3,87,421 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,395 villages in gopalganj district.
