Muzaffarpur District, Bihar
Muzaffarpur District is an administrative district in the state of Bihar, India. It is situated about 75 km from Patna, the state capital of Bihar. The district headquarters is located at Muzaffarpur. Hindi, Maithili and Bhojpuri are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,172 km², including 3,099.82 km² of rural area and 72.18 km² of urban area.
