Sheohar District, Bihar

Sheohar District is an administrative district in the state of Bihar, India. It is situated about 130 km from Patna, the state capital of Bihar. The district headquarters is located at Sheohar. Hindi and Maithili are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 349 km², including 339.67 km² of rural area and 9.33 km² of urban area.
