Sitamarhi District, Bihar
Sitamarhi is an administrative district in Bihar, India. The district is located about 140 km from Patna, the capital of Bihar. Its administrative headquarters is in Sitamarhi. Hindi and Maithili are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 2,294 km², including 2,255.05 km² of rural area and 38.95 km² of urban area.
