Jamui District, Bihar
Jamui is an administrative district in Bihar, India. The district is located about 175 km from Patna, the capital of Bihar. Its administrative headquarters is in Jamui. Hindi and Magahi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 3,098 km², including 3,050.04 km² of rural area and 47.96 km² of urban area.
