Bijapur District, Chhattisgarh

Bijapur District is an administrative district in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. It is situated about 390 km from Raipur, the state capital of Chhattisgarh. The district headquarters is located at Bijapur. Hindi, Gondi and Halbi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 8,530 km², including 8,448.71 km² of rural area and 81.29 km² of urban area.
