Central District is an administrative district in the national capital territory of Delhi, India. It is situated about 5 km from New Delhi, the capital of the Union Territory. The district headquarters is located at Daryaganj. Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and English are among the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 21 km².
