Bharuch District, Gujarat

Bharuch District is an administrative district in the state of Gujarat, India. It is situated about 130 km from Gandhinagar, the state capital of Gujarat. The district headquarters is located at Bharuch. Gujarati and Hindi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 6,509 km², including 6,339.21 km² of rural area and 169.79 km² of urban area.
