Anand District, Gujarat

Anand District is an administrative district in the state of Gujarat, India. It is situated about 70 km from Gandhinagar, the state capital of Gujarat. The district headquarters is located at Anand. Gujarati and Hindi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,204 km², including 2,904.01 km² of rural area and 299.99 km² of urban area.
