Surendranagar is an administrative district in Gujarat, India. The district is located about 170 km from Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat. Its administrative headquarters is in Surendranagar. Gujarati is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 10,423 km², including 10,128.34 km² of rural area and 294.66 km² of urban area.
