Hisar District, Haryana
Hisar District is an administrative district in the state of Haryana, India. It is situated about 190 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Haryana. The district headquarters is located at Hisar. Hindi and Haryanvi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,983 km², including 3,835.53 km² of rural area and 147.47 km² of urban area.
