Jind District, Haryana

Jind District is an administrative district in the state of Haryana, India. It is situated about 160 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Haryana. The district headquarters is located at Jind. Hindi and Haryanvi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,702 km², including 2,626.74 km² of rural area and 75.26 km² of urban area.
