Karnal District, Haryana
Karnal is an administrative district in Haryana, India. The district is located about 120 km from Chandigarh, the capital of Haryana. Its administrative headquarters is in Karnal. Hindi, Haryanvi and Punjabi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 2,520 km², including 2,451.05 km² of rural area and 68.95 km² of urban area.
