Jhajjar District, Haryana

Jhajjar is an administrative district in Haryana, India. The district is located about 240 km from Chandigarh, the capital of Haryana. Its administrative headquarters is in Jhajjar. Hindi and Haryanvi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 1,834 km², including 1,752.88 km² of rural area and 81.12 km² of urban area.
