Gurugram District, Haryana

Gurugram District is an administrative district in the state of Haryana, India. It is situated about 260 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Haryana. The district headquarters is located at Gurugram. Hindi, Haryanvi, English and Punjabi are among the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,258 km², including 976.65 km² of rural area and 281.35 km² of urban area.
