Gurugram District, Haryana

Gurugram is an administrative district in Haryana, India. The district is located about 260 km from Chandigarh, the capital of Haryana. Its administrative headquarters is in Gurugram. Hindi, Haryanvi, English and Punjabi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 1,258 km², including 976.65 km² of rural area and 281.35 km² of urban area.
