Palwal District is an administrative district in the state of Haryana, India. It is situated about 290 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Haryana. The district headquarters is located at Palwal. Hindi and Haryanvi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,359 km², including 1,311.90 km² of rural area and 47.10 km² of urban area.
