Khunti

Khunti is a district in the Jharkhand State of India. Total area of Khunti is 2,535 km² including 2,500.70 km² rural area and 34.30 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Khunti has a population of 5,31,885 peoples, out of which urban population is 44,982 while rural population is 4,86,903. Khunti has a sex ratio of approximately 997 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 209.8 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,03,700 houses in the district, including 9,055 urban houses and 94,645 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 754 villages in khunti district.
