Yadgir District, Karnataka

Yadgir District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 550 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Yadgir. Kannada, Telugu and Urdu are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 5,270 km², including 5,169.17 km² of rural area and 100.83 km² of urban area.
