Koppal District, Karnataka

Koppal District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 390 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Koppal. Kannada and Telugu are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 5,570 km², including 5,533.14 km² of rural area and 36.86 km² of urban area.
