Gadag District, Karnataka

Gadag District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 430 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Gadag-Betageri. Kannada is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,657 km², including 4,386.56 km² of rural area and 270.44 km² of urban area.
