Belagavi District, Karnataka
Belagavi is an administrative district in Karnataka, India. The district is located about 500 km from Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. Its administrative headquarters is in Belgaum. Kannada, Marathi and Konkani are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 13,433 km², including 13,014.51 km² of rural area and 418.49 km² of urban area.
