Belagavi District, Karnataka

Belagavi District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 500 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Belgaum. Kannada, Marathi and Konkani are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 13,433 km², including 13,014.51 km² of rural area and 418.49 km² of urban area.
