Uttara Kannada District, Karnataka
Uttara Kannada is an administrative district in Karnataka, India. The district is located about 490 km from Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. Its administrative headquarters is in Karwar. Kannada, Konkani and Havyaka are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 10,277 km², including 10,024.22 km² of rural area and 252.78 km² of urban area.
