Udupi District, Karnataka

Udupi District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 400 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Udupi. Kannada, Tulu and Konkani are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,582 km², including 3,338.33 km² of rural area and 243.67 km² of urban area.
