Chikkamagaluru District, Karnataka

Chikkamagaluru District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 240 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Chikmagalur. Kannada is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 7,202 km², including 7,091.47 km² of rural area and 110.53 km² of urban area.
