Dharwad District, Karnataka

Dharwad District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 415 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Dharwad. Kannada, Urdu and Marathi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,260 km², including 3,958.91 km² of rural area and 301.09 km² of urban area.
