Bagalkote District, Karnataka

Bagalkote District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 480 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Bagalkote. Kannada is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 6,552 km², including 6,369.08 km² of rural area and 182.92 km² of urban area.
